Iraqi Refugee Assistance Connection (IRAC)
More info [pdf]
Founders: Rosemary Nuri and Maura Stephens

Maura, Rosemary and other IRAC volunteers help Iraqi translaters and interpreters and their families obtain permanent immigrant visas to the U.S. The fees and travel costs are enormous. Once in the U.S., IRAC helps the refugees find affordable housing, jobs and welcoming communities in towns across the United States. In the absence of government help, the costs of these efforts are substantial. The CRESP Center for Transformative Action is assisting the efforts of the IRAC volunteers by establishing a Fund to which concerned individuals can donate.

You can help: Visit our Donate Page and select IRAC Fund from the drop down list when you donate, or write a check to "CRESP (f.b.o. IRAC Fund).
