A catalyst for transformative social change, we cultivate change makers with pattern-breaking ideas to resolve social problems and mobilize others to action.
Our Project Partners are system changing social entrepreneurs to whom we provide ready non-profit status, business services, and a network of like-minded innovators for sharing and learning best practices.
Our Strategic Initiatives are designed to open spaces in which perspective suddenly shifts. It is in these moments that social entrepreneurs and change makers find their calling.
Transformative Action is an approach to social change that considers not how we can defeat them, but how we can act together on the unseen threads that connect us all.

Changing Ourselves, Changing the World:
A Community Course in Transformative Action
The CRESP Center for Transformative Action is offering a 6-week community course on Transformative Action that will run from May 4th - June 8th.
This course offers community members the opportunity to:
o Learn about Transformative Action principles and practice them in their daily lives
o Engage with a group of community members who are committed to personal and social transformation
o Gain empowering skills and strategies to nonviolent social change.
Transformative action is a powerful new approach to social change. It is about transforming hatred into goodwill, problems into opportunities, enemies into allies, and failure into success. Authentic yet compassionate communication is a foundational skill. The goal of this course is to provide community members with some of the skills and strategies needed to engage in this empowering approach to social change.
